Calling all HAMS

I am inviting everyone who is a ham, or anyone who has an interest in ham radio to a monthly luncheon meet-up:
This gathering has been going on for many many years, although the location has changed a few times over the years. It began when Tim (Wb3EYB) felt that club members of all clubs, and those not in clubs,1 needed a way, and place, to get together in an informal setting to get to know one another. Tom (KA3TKW), Tim’s Brother, has continued this gathering, and expanded on it.
WHEN:
The last Thursday of each month (Thanksgiving it will be on the week before)
The location is the Hibachi Buffet, 5080 Jonestown Road (Colonial Commons), Harrisburg, PA 17112.
The Time is 12:00 until you want to leave. You can begin to arrive by 11:30, if you wish.
There is a banquet room to the rear on the left, where you will find us.
You do not have to eat if you do not want to.
Here is how it works:
Come in and find friends, find a seat. It is a buffet and it is filled with a variety of food and desert items. As most are ready for dessert, everyone will be directed to introduce themselves and share something about yourself. There is always a short presentation of interest to most hams.
You are encouraged to bring an item for “Show and Tell” or just to sit on the Show Table. Stay as long as you want to, or when you need to leave to head back to work .
This is a great way to meet someone you may have only known by meeting them on the radio. It is also a great place to meet others to get advice on just about any subject, including but not limited to ham radio.
Please take the opportunity to include this very informal event into your schedule.
